The biggest event on renewable energy and energy efficiency in Romania, RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE proved for the sixth time the importance of renewable energy and scored another success in the area. Since 2008, RENEXPO® creates history and returns each time with news from renewable energy sector. The event changed its image and location, taking place in the most modern exhibition centre in Romania - EXPOROM - Bucharest, between the 20th - 22nd of November 2013 and presented many products, services, opportunities and energetic solutions on a large scale.
"RENEXPO®, the successful event came back this year in a new location EXPOROM-Bucharest and presented to participants a different view of the renewable energy event. RENEXPO® has exceeded this year the expectations of exhibitors and gave them a quality fair thanks to the large space for building and personalizing booths and an environment proper for business. Over 6000m² were occupied by national and international companies. We would like to thank all the partners, sponsors and exhibitors who honoured us with their presence and contributed to the success of this event", says Timea Szanto, Project Manager RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE.
RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE presented its new sub-brands: RENEXPO® SOLAR, RENEXPO® WIND, RENEXPO® HYDROPOWER and RENEXPO® BIO&CO. Exhibitors were placed on areas which facilitated to visitors to identify then easier. RENEXPO® hosted for the 2nd time the German Common Both, on a surface of about 100m², with important companies like: Schletter GmbH, MWM, Dach und Sonne GmbH, Kanne&Joos and Dreyer &Bosse organised by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A number of 131 well known and appreciated national and international companies from 15 countries on 2 continents, presented their products and services on a surface of 6000m², to approximately 3000 visitors on the three days of the event. The event provided "a great opportunity to get to know key players in the renewable energy sector and to establish new opportunities for collaboration" (said Dragoș Vasile, Eximprod Grup). RENEXPO® reached a specialized elite public this year.
The official opening ceremony was attended by important personalities in the sector: Mr. Radu ION - Minister Advise for Water, Forests and Fisheries; Nicolae MATEI - President of Romania's Towns Association, Mayor of Navodari City, Romania; Brigitte EBLE - Vice - President Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, General Director Bosch Romania; Johan-Georg RÖHM - CEO REECO Company, Germany and Avena GALL-TAMAS - International Business Development, REECO Company, Germany.
In parallel with the trade fair 9 international conferences, workshops and forums took place on several topics: solar energy, wind energy, biomass, hydropower, cogeneration and energy efficiency.
The RENERGY AWARD was given for the 2nd time during the Professional Networking Evening, on the 20th of November 2013 at Solange Ballroom. The award was offered in two categories, to an Outstanding Personality and to an Innovative Technology. The winner of the Outstanding Personality was Mr. Havrilet Niculae - President of ANRE, and the winner of the award for an Innovative Technology was Altius Fotovoltaic company.
